Within business-mission AIP members held two investment workshops in Verona and Bergamo two powerful industrial centers of Italy, where Russian delegation had a number of meetings with Italian companies interested in operating on Russian market. On 24 October a workshop and B2B meetings were held in Verona (Veneto region), where metallurgical, machine- building, chemical, wood economy, printing, food and light industry and also production of building materials are historically situated. On 25 October AIP delegation visited a number of industrial enterprises, where Russian guests got acquainted with work experience of Italian colleagues and held some meeting and negotiations with a view to collaborate on various projects in Russia. During a meeting at one of the largest wine plants Pasqua (production of Amarone, Soave and other local brand vines) discussed establishing a new enterprise in southern Russia. A major producer of sandwich panels and metal structures Manni introduced his plants in Veneto, one of them is an exact replica of a Russian enterprise localized in Volgograd region last year. At the SIAD enterprise (one of the largest manufacturer of industrial gases and gas equipment) company management shared their plans concerning business developing in Russia, in particular, the company is going to find a partner in establishing co-enterprises and to localize its enterprise in one of industrial parks in Russia. 26 October AIP members had a number of meetings with Bergamo industrialists (Lombardia region), where textile production, metallurgy and pipe-rolling industry, manufacturing of electrical appliances, agricultural machinery, construction materials, appliances for chemical and food industry, oil and gas equipment are situated. AIP members in the delegation held series of meetings and negotiations with potential investors and establish new business contacts in Asia business community. On March 1, 2016 at the seminar "The localization of production of Japanese companies in Russia" in Tokyo was attended by over 100 participants from Japan. Seminar in Nagoya on 2th of March was devoted to the topic "Opportunities for business development of Japanese manufacturing companies in Russia" and gathered more than 20 participants from the Japanese side. The Russian side was represented by AIP executive board, the representatives of Industry and Trade of Russia and the Ministry of the Russian Federation on the development of the Far East, JSC "Special Economic Zones" and the Industry development Fund, representatives of the Astrakhan Region, the Leningrad Region, the Ulyanovsk Region, the Sverdlovsk region, Moscow and Moscow Region, Stavropol and Khabarovsk Territory. Seminars promoting industrial parks have been organized in the framework of the Russian-Japanese industrial dialogue, the Russian delegation which was headed by Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Denis Manturov. In 2014 Japan holds the 7th place among Russian economic partners, ahead of the United States, Turkey, France and Italy. Trade turnover between the two countries last year reached an absolute maximum of 33.2 billion dollars. Jointly representatives of more than 80 German companies, interested in business development in Russia were on investment workshops October, 8 in Dusseldorf and in Stuttgart October, 10. Major part of them was production companies, consulting, designing and construction companies connected with localization of European companies in Russian regions. Workshop organizers were Dusseldorf and Stuttgart Chambers of Commerce and with them AIP intends to continue co-working on keeping German business-community informed about Russian production areas. Among practical results of business-mission there are AIP agreements with three German companies on cooperation in searching for a platform for localization in Russia.
