F: 2007, 2) Indonesian diaspora's position as a bridgehead of expansion of Indonesian economic development (Muhidin, S & Utomo, A: 2005) 'Returning Expert' refers to people who studied and worked in Germany to generate technical or managerial skills and later they bring and use their knowledge and expertise from Germany to Indonesia (CIM: 2019) Page 4 Page 4#5Statistics of Indonesian Diaspora World Bank (2017) German Federal Office for Statistics/ Statistisches Bundesamt INDONESIAN CITIZEN IN GERMANY • In 2016 over 9 million Indonesian migrants worked abroad • In 2016 Indonesian remittances reached USD 8.9 Billion • 77% of former migrant workers obtained new skills during migration 12,620 -13,617-14,822 - 15,881 - 16,738-17,705-18,610-19785 2011 ―Indonesian citizen in Germany 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018 From 2011-2018 the number of Indonesian citizen in Germany was increasing 36%. Since 2008 YNM has provided supports for 800 poor orphans from 8 orphanages in 10 villages in Makassar and Enrekang - South Sulawesi, which covers: foods, clothes and school supplies YNM assists orphans to have some extra-curricular trainings in order to enhance their skills and to become independent Page 9#101 NO POVERTY ர் 8 DECENT WORK AND ECONOMIC GROWTH Objective The paper studies the implementation of 'Sustainability Training Programme' which was conducted from September 2015 - January 2017 to enhance quality of training for the orphans in Makassar - South Sulawesi.
