Together with these events, there has also been a rise in egg production costs. As such, it is vital for the sector to find measures that ensure minimum competitiveness to continue producing eggs on a large scale. Enhancing biosecurity to minimize or even eradicate diseases that affect poultry farming. Threats: • Production costs remain high in Brazil. It may be increasingly necessary to pass on the cost to the final price and this may jeopardize sales if economic crises intensify. Disease remains a major threat to our sector. IEC#3Opportunities The crises and difficulties currently faced by so many countries are impacting food production. However, eggs are a versatile food source and production costs are still lower compared to other proteins.
