The same trend applied to Number of teachers recruited to teach in public Primary Schools 9/2/2014 Social Protection Policies 13#14Impact of Policy Measures on Education Cont... • Reduction in the pupils/classroom ratio from 1:70 in 2011 to 1:42 in 2013 at public JSS At SSS level, the ratio was 1:90 in 2011 and decreased to 1:54 in 2013. • Reduction in the toilet/pupils ratio from 1:264 in 2011 to 1:181 in 2013 at public primary level, 9/2/2014 Social Protection Policies 14#15Impact of Policy Measures on Education Cont... At the JSS level, the ratio was 1:97 in 2011 which decreased to 1:62 in 2013. .
