Undertaken by the Geological Survey of Brazil (GSB / CPRM) through the Department of Mineral Resources - DEREM of the Geology and Mineral Resources Directory - DGM. • . Objective . Evaluation and consistency of existing data from primary/secondary sources provided by companies and recorded in the GEOBANK. Provide information about geology, mineralogy, geochemistry, geophysics and geochronology of kimberlite / lamproite intrusions (Kimberlite Fields) and diamond areas of Brazil. Contribute with the improvement of knowledge and support future work in both scientific research and mineral exploration. Specific objectives To present an integrated view of the main aspects of Diamond Geology in Brazil, including primary (kimberlite/lamproite), secondary sources (prospects, deposits in paleoplaceres) and economic aspects of diamond.#4STEP 1 PREPARATORY STEP 2 MAIN STEP 3 END Compilation of data and preparation of work maps Kimberlites / lamproites and diamond areas Data acquisition Geological Survey Rock sample Geochemical Survey Minerals indicators Data processing Geochemistry Geochronology Petrography Textures Chemist Diamond Studying Mapping in GIS environment Interpretation and Data Integration SECRETARIA DE CPRM GEOLOGIA, MINERAÇÃO MINISTERIO DE Serviço Geológico do Brasil E TRANSFORMAÇÃO MINERAL MINAS E ENERGIA BRASIL GOVERND FEDERAL Final report and database www.cprm.gov.br#5• • Study areas • North RO, AM, RR, PA, AP e TO Northeast: MA, PI, CE, RN, PE e BA • Southeast: SP e MG Midwest: MT, GO e MS South: RS, SC e PR TOTAL: 20 States SECRETARIA DE CPRM GEOLOGIA, MINERAÇÃO MINISTERIO DE Serviço Geológico do Brasil E TRANSFORMAÇÃO MINERAL MINAS E ENERGIA BRASIL GOVERND FEDERAL S.0% 20°S 10°S 70°W 60°W 50°W 40°W RR AP AC RO AM PA MA CE 39 RN PB Pl PE TO SE BA MT GO DE MG ES MS SP PR SC RS 70°W 60°W 50°W 0 250 500 1.000 km 40°W www.cprm.gov.br 30°S 20°S 10°S#6Kimberlite Fields 42 campsites (24) 1,365 bodies (1,228) Diamond Fields 20 known fields 804 occurrences 142 garimpos 0 1 2 3 4 5 Limpeza-17 (MG) Garimpo Bendegó 30°S 20°S 10°S 70°W 60°W 50°W 40°W Tio Chico Macuxi Micuim-Cruzeiro Camunani Mutuca Ma Jaibaras, N -8 Kimberlite Fields Diamond Areas Alto Araguaia Alto Paranaíba Amapá Amazonas Santa Fé Chapada Diamantina Franca 10°S Gilbués Vale Verde Moana-Tinguins Traira Desencanto Belmonte Redondãó Ariquemes Braúna Pimenta Bueno Juina Salvador Paranatinga Colorado d'Oeste Jauru Caiapó Rio Verde Coromandel - Três Ranchos Santa Juliana SW Minas Gerais Campo Alegre de Goiás Patos de Minas São Gotardo Diamantina Serra do Salitre Bambuí -Divinópolis Serra da Canastra Boa Esperança Cerro Azul Lages CPRM São Xavier Serviço Geológico do Brasil Rosário do Sul Caturrita Capivaras 0 500 1.000 Ikm 40°W 30°S 20°S Juína Machado NW São Francisco Paranatinga Pimenta Bueno Roraima Serra da Canastra Serra do Espinhaço Tapajós Taquari-Piqueri Tibagi Tocantins W Rondônia 70°W 60°W 50°W (BA) CPRM Serviço Geológico do Brasil SECRETARIA DE GEOLOGIA, MINERAÇÃO MINISTERIO DE E TRANSFORMAÇÃO MINERAL MINAS E ENERGIA BRASIL GOVERND FEDERAL www.cprm.gov.br#7Methodology Kimberlite - Related Rocks Location Intrusion Shape Dimensions Petrographic type Mineralogy Facies Sampling (2) Geochronology Suitable for mineral chemistry (diamond potential) Presence of diamonds Alto Paranaíba (MG) Diamond Mining Location Status (active, inactive, abandoned) Deposit type Average size of stones Greatest stone recovered Prevailing colors Predominant morphology Inclusions Mining, concentration and calculation systems CPRM SECRETARIA DE GEOLOGIA, MINERAÇÃO MINISTERIO DE Serviço Geológico do Brasil E TRANSFORMAÇÃO MINERAL MINAS E ENERGIA BRASIL GOVERND FEDERAL www.cprm.gov.br#8Rock/Saprolite Braúna 8 (BA) SECRETARIA DE GEOLOGIA, MINERAÇÃO CPRM MINISTERIO DE Serviço Geológico do Brasil E TRANSFORMAÇÃO MINERAL MINAS E ENERGIA BRASIL GOVERND FEDERAL KIM's and diamonds Diamonds covered from the Braun Piropo Araxá (MG) www.cprm.gov.br#9Sampling SAMPLES COLLECTED Rock PERIOD TOTAL 2011 2012 2013 2014 758 96 212 0 1,094 2,407 281 222 410 3,320 858 14 3 1.238 2,113 TOTAL 4,023 391 437 1.648 6,527 Pan concentrate Mineral (diamonds) TYPE OF DATA AND ANALYSIS Mineralogical analysis - KIM Mineralogical analysis - KIM Mineral Chemistry Analysis Diamond Samples DIAMOND PROJECT BRAZIL DESCRIPTION Recovery and classification of KIM Magnetic mineral separation In situ electron microprobe analysis Individual diamond grains QUANTITY 203,732 grains recovered 3,404 samples analyzed 1,453 spot analysis 875 grains#10Results - Database BB = Página Inicial RD DR Valid Impere-V-10 six-Microceface Inserin * Дилотве ta Copiar Layout da Pagina Times New Roman 12 MI Formulas Pades Revista Explo AA &-A --- Quebrar Texto Automaticamente Texto Mesare Centra Pincel de Formatação Area de Transferência Fante Antament AS Abel Regis 001 ES Autom Preencher Format Conditional como Tabela Tumero Farmatan Este Estilos de Inter Exit Formatan Clasificar Losar e Celula 2 Lingar- Fitar Selecionar C C 地 Corpo сагро002 Sigla согрейт согрей Amontrado serpe091 Cal Fears Regressalaa calade serpe Nene Fatha Corpo001 Datum X UTM согре009 YUTM corpe Z UTM Gospel 11 LE согре012 Lan cerped!!
