National Economic Recovery Program (PEN) was enacted in response to the Covid-19 pandemic handling and was aimed at
saving lives and supporting the economy. In 2021, the initial figures were lower than 2020, however, due to delta variant
outbreak in July, PEN was strengthened for social protection expansion and hospital costs.
