BBFAW analyzed welfare improvement across 57 food companies that have
been continuously assessed by BBFAW since 2012
➤ The study found that 72% of the food companies have showed
improvement in animal welfare (moving up at least one tier)
However, McDonald's was one of only two companies (4%) that showed
worsening practices in the 10-year period
