Flexibility to buy back power and resell to
industrial customers at a premium
• During repair of a leakage in one of the boilers
the power plant operated at about 50% of the
usual capacity for about 3 months in 2016
The power plant was in full "reserve shutdown"
for most of 1Q18 and 2Q19 and has operated
intermittently in other quarters of 2018, 2019,
and 1Q20. In 2Q20 the power plant was almost
in full reserve shutdown, whereas in 2H20 the
plant operated more, but still more reserve
shutdown than not.
