(i) Health care (post-retirement)
The liability related to the health care plan for retired employees is stated
at the present value of the obligation, less the market value of the plan
assets, adjusted by actuarial gains and losses and past-service costs, in a
manner similar to the accounting methodology used for defined benefit
pension plans. The post-retirement health care obligation is calculated an-
nually by independent actuaries. The present value of the post-retirement
health care obligation is determined based on an estimate of the future
cash outflow.
