rebasing of GDP

growth and the recent GDP rebasing exercise
means that Ghana suddenly finds itself above the
income limit for IDA eligibility... Perhaps the most
obvious and predictable impact of Ghana's new
middle-income status will be a gradual loss of
access to concessional financing, particularly
from the World Bank's IDA. IDA is currently
