Nellis AFB/NTTR Expansion Proposal

Nellis AFB/NTTR Expansion US Air Force has proposed expanding the adjacent 2.9 million acre Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR) Proposal would: • Assume primary jurisdiction over 850,000 acres currently under joint management with USFWS • Close Alamo Road and public access to an additional 227,000 acres of Wildlife Refuge currently open to the public • Take over and close 72,000 acres of BLM land 2 new runways, 115 miles of fence, unknown amount of new roads (est. 30+).
