The min and max range of exceedance probabilities (across all of Bangladesh) are represented by the dashed lines. Coastal cities of Cox's Bazar and Chittagong are unsurprisingly the most exposed population centres to high gust speeds. Chittagong and Cox's Bazar are roughly x2.5 and x4.8 more likely to experience tropical cyclones exceeding Very Severe cyclonic storm conditions than Dhaka, for a landfalling cyclone.
