#9 Corrective Action Plan • LEAs are required to submit its CAP related to findings of noncompliance with the ESSA and Perkins programs, to the Director of the OFAC, and subsequently forwarded to the team lead for review. The LEAs are also required to develop a separate CAP for the Office of Special Education Policy & Dispute Resolution (SPDR). • The SPDR reviews the CAP and provides assistance to the LEA to ensure that the corrective actions outlined in the IDEA on-site monitoring report, are implemented.
