222 Environmental Verde's production process is sustainable. The processing does not require tailings dams, nor does it generate any waste by products. In sum, the ore recovery rate is 100%. The mined area is mainly composed of degraded pasturelands that, once mined, Verde transforms into tropical forest. To that end, the Company planted 4,300 trees in 2019, 5,000 trees in 2020, and 9,888 trees in 2021.
