DEC BARBADOS EMPLOYERS' CONFEDERATION Section 22 (6) sets out that: - An employer can give a longer period of notice where this is the practice, given the nature and functions of the work performed or any party can waive their right to notice on any occasion or from accepting a payment in lieu of notice.
