Operational eco-efficiency
To carry out the management
of environmental aspects on the
premises of BH Airport, CCR Group
uses the Integrated Management
System (IMS). The various areas
are responsible for ensuring the
fulfillment of environmental licensing
conditions and for reporting
control indicators to the corporate
environmental team.
The company currently monitors
about 280 conditioning factors,
whose timely reporting to the
supervisory bodies is followed to
the letter in order to guarantee
the continuity of operations at the
airport. All environmental aspects are
continuously managed with this legal
compliance in mind.
In addition, water and electricity
consumption issues also have a
significant impact on operating
costs. The definition of targets for
resource consumption or impact
generation reduction is being
assessed by BH Airport.
One of the medium-term objectives
is to pursue Airport Carbon
Accreditation, an international
initiative that sets voluntary levels for
accredited airports to monitor and
reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
This must be achieved in combination
with IMS certification in ISO 9000 and
14000, OHSAS 18000 and the RBACS
(Brazilian Civil Aviation Regulations).
