Standards - 400 Series Standard 401-1 Description New employee hires and employee turnover Reporting criteria and parameters Boundary: Consolidated (Votorantim + portfolio companies) Details general: The aggregated information is reported by gender and age group, according to the following consolidation criteria: ► Rates are calculated based on the total number of employees at the end of the reporting period (12/31/2021). ►The total number of employees used in the turnover calculation does not include seasonal workers, interns and apprentices. ►The new hire rate is calculated by the total number of employees hired by gender and age group (numerator) in relation to the total number of employees at the end of the reporting period (denominator). ▸ Only employees hired under the Brazilian labor laws (CLT) are included. ►The turnover rate is calculated by the total number of employees dismissed by gender and age group (numerator) in relation to the total number of employees at the end of the reporting period (denominator).
