In the current situation, when imports of industrial equipment are limited, the development of domestic
machine tools and heavy machine building is among the most important tasks for Russia. A domestic
machine tool fleet is especially necessary for the defence industrial complex, aircraft building, rocket and
space industries. Increasing the share of domestic products in the Russian market is a matter of strategic
importance. How are we solving urgent problems of production and increasing the service life of parts and
tools for machine-building and machine-tool construction? How to establish international cooperation in the
