DEC BARBADOS EMPLOYERS' CONFEDERATION Section 45 of the Severance Payments Act Cap 355A speaks to the assessment of damages of the employee where there is a breach of contract of employment (at an amount not less than such severance payment). Indeed damages at common law were calculated with reference to this formula.
