For the year-to-date period, average equity is computed by adding the total equity attributable to Raymond James Financial, Inc. as of each quarter-end date during the indicated period to the beginning of year total, and dividing by three, or in the case of average tangible common equity, computed by adding tangible common equity as of each quarter-end date during the indicated period to the beginning of year total, and dividing by three.
