Tuberculosis (affects 228 per 100,000 people
1/4 of children under 5 are stunted due to malnutrition
Highest under 5 mortality rate in world, with 135 deaths per 1,000 births
Of 17 Neglected Tropical Diseases recognized by WHO, South Sudan has them
all (Dracunculiasis from contaminated water)
Lack of access to healthcare (1.5 doctors for every 100,000 citizens)
