Male percentage of the Nile-Blue hybrid tilapia fry ranges from 85% to 90% Harvested fries are nursed in local nursery farms to 2-3 cm long, and sold to farmers at an average price of 0.1 Yuan/fry (1US$ 8.21 Yuan)
