GOALS, OBJECTIVES, STRATEGIES & MEASURES GOAL 1: HEALTH PROMOTION AND ENGAGEMENT Strengthen services and supports that encourage healthy, active, and engaged lives SENIOR COMMUNITY SERVICES EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM (SCSEP) Objective Strategies Increase the impact of the SCSEP in Virginia through successful older adult employment placements and host agency engagement Measures • • • • · • Conduct outreach and distribute information in order to recruit more host agencies and participant referrals Collaborate with AAAS and DARS VR staff to identify opportunities to share information about SCSEP with potential participants and host agencies Subgrantees provide individualized, person-centered assessment to identify possible job placements that fit each older adult Help older adults stay employed or acquire employment skills that al- low them to obtain and retain unsubsidized employment Provide training and technical assistance to subgrantees Conduct monitoring of subgrantees to ensure compliance with SCSEP requirements Support subgrantees to build and implement strong recruitment plans Update and re-procure the host agency contracts • SCSEP participant placement rate - annually • SCSEP participant median earnings - annually • Number of host agencies - annually 59
