The Group is a "platform" for consultations at the level of public and political figures, business circles, representatives of the scientific community and clergy who have authority and influence in their countries. 1.1.6 RUSSIA AND ORGANIZATION OF ISLAMIC COOPERATION (OIC) – THE GENERAL HISTORY Organizer: State Committee for Archives of the Republic of Tatarstan. In the Islamic world, genealogy has traditionally been given great importance and descent from a revered family was perceived as social superiority and privilege. Nowadays, the interest of citizens in the history of their family is increasing. Handwritten sources such as metric books, register books, and household records kept in archives, mosques, and civil registries allow people to compile their genealogy. In this regard, the issue of finding handwritten sources, their reading, and translation into modern language is relevant. Thus, within the framework of this session, there will be held the genealogical forum “Shəàжərə – iman nigeze," organized with the aim to study the best world practices of genealogical research, presentation of modern possibilities of researchers-genealogists of the Republic of Tatarstan in compiling the genealogy using the artificial intellect. How is the work with archival documents for genealogical research built? How to build a genealogical tree in 1 day? How is genealogical research organized using archival documents in Turkey? What role did the genealogical factor play in the governance of Central Asian states during the 15th-20th centuries?
