8.1 INTERNATIONAL INDUSTRIAL COOPERATION IN AN ERA OF CHANGE. THROUGH
CHALLENGES TO NEW OPPORTUNITIES

The changed geopolitical situation has led to a global restructuring not only of cooperation and logistics chains
but also prompted a rethinking of international economic models and a reorientation of the Russian
Federation's business relations towards friendly states, both traditional Russian partners and prospective
countries. Mechanisms of support for Russian foreign trade activities were promptly fine-tuned by the Ministry
of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Russian Export Centre in terms of simplifying support for
exporters to implement international projects, obligations were introduced, and financial support for the
national project “International Cooperation and Export" was targeted to the most in-demand measures.
Despite the imposed external restrictions, it was possible not only to maintain the functionality of the existing
export support infrastructure but also to form a new line of services for exporters, aimed both at helping them
