AUSTRALIAN DROUGHT CONSIDERATIONS
• Most drought-affected regions have seen good rainfall throughout 2020,
which has improved the outlook for the sector
• Asset quality remains sound, noting that the sector faces some uncertainty
due to of falling commodity prices and the potential impact from geopolitical
tensions
• NAB continues supporting farming customers through disaster relief
packages and a moratorium on branch closures in affected regions
• Collective provision forward looking adjustment reduced by $91m to $89m
at 30 September 2020, reflecting easing of drought conditions for the bulk
of exposures
