Teaching Excellence-Batch 2 (Sep 6-Sep 9) and Batch 3 (Sep 13-Sep 16)
The closing ceremony of the Teaching Excellence Programme for batches 2 and 3 was conducted
on Sep 28 in the Main Auditorium at UCP. Vice-Chancellor, University of Education, Lahore,
Dr Talat Naseer Pasha, attended this ceremony as Chief Guest. UCP Pro-Rector, Dr Nassar
Ikram, Deans, HODs, trainers and training participants attended the ceremony. Chief Guest
VC University of Education appreciated the remarkable efforts made in faculty development to
elevate the academic delivery by applying modern teaching methods and pedagogies.
UCP Pro-Rector also mentioned other initiatives kick-started to support innovation and research
culture. Head UCP - Centre for Professional Excellence gave a rundown of the programme and
highlighted the achievements of respective teams and team leads in overall pursuit. Certificates
were awarded to all the trainers and trainees.

MOU with IHSAS Associates
UCP Centre for Professional Excellence has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with
IHSAS Associates for collaboration on undertaking different diploma and training programs to
meet the needs of healthcare spanning over the primary, secondary and tertiary sectors. IHSAS
Associates comprise of seasoned Medical Doctors and Professionals working nationally with
renowned hospitals and international with healthcare organizations.

Closing ceremony of Batch 4 of UCP Teaching Excellence Program Roll Out was conducted on
October 8 in Main Auditorium at University of Central Punjab.

MOU with International Association for People and Performance Development
(IAPPD)
(CPE) has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Pakistan Chapter of UK
based, International Association for People and Performance Development IAPPD.
UCP-CPE would be offering international Certification and Training Programs of IAPPD
for youngsters and mid-career professionals and industry executives in the areas of Human
Resource Management, Sales & Marketing, Project Management, Supply Chain, Operations
and Quality Management.
Speaking on the occasion, UCP Pro Rector Dr Nassar Ikram shared that this partnership
would help UCP-CPE to support the industry professionals who are keen to develop
themselves in line with the required skills for domestic, regional and international markets.
IAPPD's country Director, Mr Sohail Rizvi expressed that they were very excited to start
this partnership with UCP-CPE for upskilling individual professionals and organizations
in the industry. Both sides also discussed next steps to kick start under this partnership.
After signing the MoU, Head CPE, Mr Zubair Anwar also expressed his views about the
high potential of this mutual partnership.

Honorable Pro Rector awarded the certificates to UCP trainers and the training participants.
Distinguished Deans also joined for the award of certificates. Open house Q&A session was
also conducted. UCP Pro Rector, Head UCP - Centre for Professional Excellence, Head HR and
Director QEC responded to the questions asked by the new faculty members.
