• • Introduction: What is Schistosomiasis? Nigeria has the highest burden of the disease worldwide, with around 29 million cases across the country (Salwa Dawaki et al 2015). Infection occurs during routine agricultural, domestic, occupational and recreation activities which expose people to infected water.
