Global Leader in Hydro Power and Aluminium
E Environmental Focus: ALLOW Brand Aluminium
Powering business with a low carbon footprint
In 2017, we launched a bespoke brand for low carbon aluminium -
ALLOW with a certified carbon footprint.
ALLOW's carbon footprint is lower than 4 tCO2 per tonne of
primary aluminium produced at smelters, significantly lower than
the industry average.
ALLOW aluminium was verified by an in international audit firm
TUV Austria. In 2018, ALLOW aluminium made up 78% of the
company's total output. All calculations were carried out in
accordance with the Guidelines for Reporting the Aluminium
Carbon Footprint developed by the International Aluminium
Institute in Feb, 2018.
ALLOW will provide consumer and manufacturers with confidence
that the aluminium from the Metals segment of En+ Group
represented by RUSAL used in their products has one of the
lowest carbon footprints in the industry.
