VITTIA
Human rights
We are committed to respect and non-
violation of human rights.
Our Code of Ethical Conduct explicitly provides
for this commitment, which is also the subject
of internal rules and training on integrity and
compliance.
We seek to contribute to the guarantee and
respect for human rights with regard to care
for employees, communities, and the
environment, with investments in studies and
projects that aim to minimize situations of
vulnerabilities and social risks.
We do not accept, under any circumstances,
and repudiate any form of discrimination or
any manifestation of prejudice related to
aspects such as origin, gender, race, religion,
social class, sexual orientation, physical disability,
or any other prejudices that may exist. We
prohibit and do not practice child labor, forced
or slave labor, abuse of working conditions and
abuse of power or hierarchical position.
We promote actions to ensure respect for
human rights among the Company's
stakeholders, throughout our value chain. Our
suppliers, for example, must ensure
compliance with Brazilian legislation and the
protection of human rights, including non-
tolerance of child labor, forced or slave-like
labor and discrimination.
These guidelines are expressed in our Code of
Ethical Conduct. Sanctions arising from non-
compliance with these principles are defined
by our Ethics Committee, guaranteeing the
suspected employee or external representative
the right of defense.
The Code is updated, whenever necessary, so
that we are always in line with best practices.
The document was updated in 2022, adding
new topics and directions, due to the evolution
in governance, the Company's IPO, and the
alignment with the Global Compact guidelines.
