Encouraging growth
across all metrics
Revenue grew by 13.0% in constant currency
while reported currency growth was 4.9%.
Gap in reported and constant currency
growth was largely on account of CFA
devaluation. Constant currency growth driven
by all the key services; voice, data and mobile
money.
Voice revenue grew 10.3% driven by
customer base growth of 6.0%. Voice ARPU
growth was only 0.5% due to changes to local
interconnect rates in Niger and Congo B.
Data revenue grew 14.7% largely driven by
customer base growth of 4.2% supported by
data ARPU growth of 5.4%.
Mobile money revenue grew 23.6% driven by
customer base growth of 22.9% and mobile
money ARPU growth of 1.9%.
EBITDA margin was 47.9%, an improvement
of 397 basis points.
