Financial Results 25 ☐ 25 In H1 2018, the company has applied 50 IFRS 15 'Revenue from Contracts with Customers "and IFRS 9 "Financial Instruments" which are effective from 1st January 2018 and opted for full retrospective approach. ■ VIVA customers' reached 2.35 million by end of June 2018 compared to 2.24 to the same period of 2017. ■ VIVA revenue grew by 7.6% during the H1 2018 to reach KD 149.1 million as compared to KD 138.6 million recorded during H1 2017. ■ VIVA EBITDA reached KD 37 million during H1-2018 with EBITDA Margin 24.8% as compared to KD 17.6 million and margin of 23.3% during H1-2017. ■ VIVA's net profit grew to KD 23.8 Million during H1-2018 compared to a net profit of KD 19.7 million reported during Q1-2017.
