1966-67 Harry Chan OBE President, Northern Territory Legislative Council, Mayor of Darwin BE HEARD. BE RECOGNISED. Harry Chan is recognised for his work in the Territory as a businessman, mayor and politician. What is less well known is that he studied accountancy by correspondence, was the first Territorian to become a Fellow of the Australian Society of Accountants (now CPA Australia) and was also the first elected President of the NT Branch of CPA Australia.
