Our PRSAC has established controls to ensure compliance, which
are an integral part of the Risks and Internal Controls Model. The
policy also provides for the application of the precautionary prin-
ciple in its initiatives, particularly in environmental management
and combating climate change, favoring an approach centered on
anticipating and preventing environmental impacts. The document
has been approved by the Board of Directors and can be accessed at

2-25 Processes to remediate
negative impacts
Training and/or awareness initiatives are conducted periodically to
ensure that all employees understand the importance of the Whist-
leblower Channel, its features, and operation. Other audiences are
informed about the channel through Santander's institutional chan-
nels. The Group's channels are subject to internal audit, which perio-
dically assesses, based on its risk assessment and annual audit plan,
whether they adhere to established standards.

laws and regulations or fines paid. We define significant instances
