En+ Group has a large direct positive
effect on the economy of its regions of
operation; the enterprises of En+ Group
being one of the largest employers,
taxpayers, and implementers of social
and infrastructure programmes.
Local communities represent one of the
key stakeholder groups for En+, as do
local NGOs and local authorities. En+
strives to support local communities
both in Russia and abroad, increasing
the Group's positive community impact
and minimising any possible negative
influence in all regions of operation.
The Group's interaction with local
communities is based on regular
discussions with representatives of the
local community and annual community
surveys to identify local challenges and
target community development activities.
When interacting with local communities,
the Group seeks to understand and
take into account local specifics and
is actively involved in solving the
problems faced by local communities.
The Company implements a wide range
of social and charitable programmes,
primarily free of charge, aimed at the
improvement of residents' well-being, the
development of social infrastructure and
the urban environment, the improvement
of educational and healthcare services,
support for public and children's sports,
and help for vulnerable groups of
people. En+ Group regularly evaluates
its programmes, updates them, and
introduces new ones. Assessment shows
that programme results correspond
to the goals set. Our contribution
to the development of the regions
where we operate allows us to create
a positive social climate and loyalty to
the Company among the population.
