Funds
The Governor and General Assembly have provided for small appropriations or seed
money for the following programs:
Birmingham Green (Manassas, VA) receives funding to provide residential ser-
vices to low-income, individuals with disabilities.
Jewish Social Services Agency (Fairfax, VA) receives funding to obtain assistance
to low-income seniors who have experienced trauma.
Pharmacy Connect of Southwest Virginia, administered by Mountain Empire Old-
er Citizens, Inc. (Big Stone Gap, VA), receives funding to provide free medica-
tions to individuals who are uninsured.
VirginiaNavigator (Richmond, VA) receives funding to support the distribution of
comprehensive health and aging information to Virginia's senior population,
their families, and caregivers.
