Assumes a 20% reduction in life cycle emissions compared to gasoline, per the Renewable Fuel
Standard (RFS) requirement for renewable fuels life cycle reduction.
Voluntary methane emission reductions include reductions from compressor station leak repairs, pipeline
pumpdowns, gas turbine installations, electric motor installations, and alternative pipeline maintenance
technologies that reduce the need for pipeline blowdowns.
Assumes a 50% reduction in life cycle emissions compared to diesel, per the RFS requirement for
biodiesel fuels life cycle reduction.
Includes 1,300,000 MT CO₂e attributable to in-service RNG facilities (Indy HBTU and Arlington).
Expect majority of Southern CA and Northern CA renewable fuels projects in-service during 1Q 2023.
