Satellite image comparison of the artisanal
workings associated with the 45 Moz Las Cristinas
+ Brisas Deposit, Venezuela and those of the
Mahdia district where the Gargantuan Project is
located. Artisanal workings appear light brown to
white against the greens of the jungle.
While the distribution of artisanal workings varies,
the area covered by the workings in the two
districts is similar at >3,200 ha.
On the left image, the yellow highlight outlines the
surface expression of the Las Cristinas & Brisas
orebodies, while on the right, the yellow highlight
outlines the area of the hypothesised Gargantuan
Source area.
Tajiri owns approximately -50% strike of the
Gargantuan Source area.
