set to double down on creating seamless online and offline experience

consumers, while reducing re-merchandising costs for the retailers

physical locations to create more experiential touchpoints for consumers
and to fight against rising online customer acquisition costs
The plateauing of e-commerce's portion of overall retail sales in 2021
suggests a renewed balance between online and brick & mortar sales. Due
to the pandemic, e-commerce will retain a permanently larger share of
overall sales, but the line between brick & mortar and online retail will
continue to blur¹.
