The forum is to get the global exposure specially in digital transformation & innovation around the globe. Director QEC, Ms Mehr Jabeen Agha was invited as a Guest speaker on CxO Global Forum to speak about "Higher Education and Women Inclusion" as part of their Ed Tech series, to represent University of Central Punjab and share the many initiatives taken by the university for inclusion of Women in Leadership Roles in Higher Education. • • . Quality Assurance Initiatives for a Student-Centered University: New Initiatives: Starting Fall 2021, QEC at UCP has started documenting Corrective Action Plans against all Assessment Evaluation Reports. After each survey and SAR report, an action plan is prepared based on the findings and periodically assessed and monitored for implementation. Semester wise Deans' Classroom Audit Report: each semester the Deans physically attend classes and fill the assessment rubric thereafter. This report is used as evidence to triangulate the feedback received by Course & Teacher Evaluation every semester. For the newly inducted Faculty members for Fall 2021 Semester, QEC gave a thorough brief about UCP Vision, Mission Values and Classroom Contract in order to benchmark the Teaching Excellence Program taught by CPE for a mid-semester Course & Teacher Evaluation. The rationale behind this initiative was for the Deans and HODs to assess new faculty's engagement in classroom and guide them accordingly whilst ensuring the students' learning in not effected. The QEC team has also contextualized all Survey tools for Fall 2021 onwards so as to assess the Program and Course Learning Objectives in light of the faculty's respective Strategic Plans, Faculty Vision & Missions aligning it with University Wide Vision and Mission. Classroom Contract 'Teacher as a Role Model' QEC incorporated the classroom contact as an integral part of the Course & Teacher evaluation to fully embrace the student-centered approach of UCP - where teachers are role models for the students and fully exhibit UCP Values and Classroom Contract in order to achieve the UCP vision and be amongst the top Universities.
