Refusal to Work An employee can refuse to work if he has the following reasons: There is serious and imminent danger to himself ► Any machine, plant or device is likely to endanger himself or another employee. The physical condition of the workplace or the part in which he works or is to work is likely to endanger himself. Any machine, plant, device or thing he is to use or operate or the physical condition of the workplace or part thereof in which he works or is to work is in contravention of this Act or the Regulations made under it and such contravention is likely to endanger himself or another employee.
