Public Health Emergency (PHE) Unwind WEST VIRGINIA Department of Health Humfan Resources • PHE is set to expire March 31, 2023, and the unwind of FMAP will begin April 2023. • BMS will work with members whose benefits are set to expire to help them through the redetermination process and help the member navigate through all assistance programs available. BMS will process these redeterminations over a 12-month period starting in April. The 6.2 percent enhanced FMAP will be phased out over a nine- month period ● .
