(Barbados Solid Waste Management Programme) DIVERSION RATE 69% Barbados landfill diversion rate is 69% which is among the highest in the region despite the lack of scale for recycling industries. The aim is to operate a full fleet of electricpublic transport buses by 2030. ► A reduction of 29% in non-electric energy consumption including transport, compared to Business as Usual ("BAU") scenario in 2029.
