Transmission and distribution lines have increased during FY2021
The length of transmission and distribution lines has increased at a slower
pace compared to that of generation (3.7% and 5.9% respectively vis-à-vis
8%) during FY2021
Dearth of transmission and distribution lines are mentioned as a major reasons
for load shedding
Surprisingly, official data indicates no load-shedding in the country
(between July, 2019 and June, 2021)
