Annual Report 2021
Celebrating Independence Day of Gilgit Baltistan
On November 1st, 2021, students celebrated the 74th Independence Day of Gilgit Baltistan at
University of Central Punjab. They paid their respects to the Gilgit Scouts, who along with the
indigenous people sacrificed their lives for liberation and made the region part of Pakistan.
UCP hosts students from all over Pakistan, and this is the first of many events planned for our
regional students. We are committed to embracing diversity and promoting cultural activities at
the university. Such activities help other students to understand, learn and appreciate different
cultures. Students who have left their hometowns and made UCP their second home need to
remain connected with their culture.

We are the 1st university to formally join hands with EC and our community will be benefiting
from their services for the year 2021. As a starting point, EC will provide 'free' access of its Video
