National Platform's Future Outlook / Goals/Expectations (incl. from
ISDR partners) – What needs to be done?

The expectation of integrating (mainstreaming) Disaster Risk
Reduction in the national development program is still a main
challenge of the National Platform. In order to make this
possible, things to be done include:
1. To maintain the available resources in such a way that all
could be developed to sustain the initiative of forming the
NP
2. To develop human resources in skills and technology to be
able to cope up with the further development of DRR
process
3. To ensure commitments of local, national, regional and
international stakeholders in the process of sharing
resources and mutual learning
