However, as an industry practice, we do not enter into long term fixed price contracts. The absence of long term contracts provides UFlex a hedge against input cost fluctuations and flexibility to react quickly to pricing changes. UFlex is able to pass-through any increase/decrease in raw material costs to its customers, thereby keeping inventory costs in check as well as passing lower costs to customers, as and when such situations arise. The inventory holding period is optimal (~90 days in FY21) The Global presence of UFlex enables it to source raw materials locally wherever it is cheaper, resulting in cost efficient operations and making it immune from geo-political disruptions.
