BUSINESS CONTINUITY
During 2021, amid global uncertainty, the
COVID-19 pandemic and continual new
outbreaks of the virus, the company made
every effort to ensure the continuity of its
operations; every company site drew up
specific protocols to prevent interruptions to
the operations:
up to the end of the second wave the
plant used a protocol based on 14 days
work followed by 14 days leave, after
which more flexibility was introduced for
those able to change to a 9 x 5 regime.
MOTRONGLY
In Ayacucho, local employees continued
to work from home, but could go to the
office if they complied with the protocol
established by the medical centre.
In Lima the majority of employees worked
from home, but after the second wave
they could return to the office voluntarily.
New operators with experience were
hired in order to reduce the learning
curve and strengthen the teams working
in the field. Priority was given to hiring
Peruvians; for that reason production is
now in the hands of Peruvians.
