Accordingly, total remuneration includes: Fixed remuneration, which is established on the basis of the employee's level of responsibility and professional track record at the Group. A salary benchmark is set for each function, reflecting its value to the organization. This salary benchmark is defined by analyzing internal and external equity and comparing it with the market and best payment practices to become the best company in Mexico when it comes to remuneration practices. Variable remuneration is a key part of the Bank's remuneration policy, as it rewards the creation of value at the Group through each of units that make up BBVA Bancomer.
