Units 1-4 at the Orot Rabin Power Station will be transferred to preservation subject to the following conditions: three natural gas reservoirs in separate infrastructure + start of the first CCGT activation. Please see the decision of
the Minister of Energy relative to the preservation of units 1-4 of February 8, 2021 published on the EA website
In accordance with the Minister of Energy's policy principles, which was published on the Ministry of Energy's website on November 24,2019, it was decided that units 5-6 at Orot Rabin Power Station and units 1-4 at Rutenberg
Power Station will gradually converse using natural gas in order to stop routine coal use until 2025 and no later than 2026.
